In this role, Cox will oversee the custody, fund services, and execution services businesses at the Wall Street giant, which is currently undergoing a comprehensive reorganization of its staff and structure.
Cox, who previously served as head of Trade and Working Capital Solutions, will now report to Shahmir Khaliq, Citi’s head of Services. His responsibilities will include driving greater interconnectivity across Citi’s five service business lines—Investor Services, Issuer Services, Payments, Liquidity Management Services, and Trade and Working Capital Solutions. Additionally, Cox will lead efforts to modernize the platform and technology underpinning these services.
This appointment is part of Citi’s broader strategy to streamline operations and enhance efficiency across its global operations.
