Brazil's Petrobras announced on Friday that its refinery output reached a historic peak in 2024, achieving record levels of gasoline and S-10 diesel production. 

The company reported that gasoline production amounted to 24.4 billion liters, surpassing the previous record of 24.2 billion liters set in 2014. Additionally, diesel production hit 26.3 billion liters, exceeding the record established in the prior year, according to a filing with securities regulators.

Petrobras also noted that its annual refinery utilization rate increased to 93.2% last year, compared to 92% in 2023.
