This innovative initiative, launched by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, seeks to revolutionize Nigeria’s public health landscape and cultivate the next generation of healthcare leaders to improve primary healthcare services across the country.

This esteemed programme will assemble a group of emerging professionals from diverse disciplines, including health and related fields, Information Technology, and Social Sciences. “This programme is built upon the limitless talent, brilliance, and patriotic valour of our young citizens, offering them an unprecedented opportunity to hone their leadership abilities and create impactful, results-driven solutions in healthcare. We call on young Nigerians to arise as powerful catalysts of change and take their rightful place in shaping the future of our nation’s health sector,” said Prof. Muhammad Ali Pate, Hon. Minister of Health and Social Welfare.

The main aim of the fellowship is to develop a cohort of highly capable and driven health leaders who can instigate significant change and foster innovation within our healthcare system.
