The 17th edition of the annual urban and hip-hop culture awards, known as "The Headies," is set to take place on April 5, 2025. This announcement was made on Monday by Ayo Animashaun, the executive producer of The Headies.

He stated, "This year's edition promises an exceptional array of events, culminating in a week-long celebration of the industry's progress and creative talent."

The schedule for the 17th Headies will kick off on March 29, 2025, with a brunch for stakeholders and nominee parties, culminating in the awards ceremony on April 5, 2025.

This year, the organizers have added a new element by introducing The Headies Festival, featuring a variety of activities that highlight the finest in music, entertainment, and culture.

Since its launch in 2006, The Headies has celebrated the remarkable accomplishments of artists and entertainers within the Nigerian music scene.
