Popular singer and one half of the duo PSquare, Paul Okoye, known as Rudeboy, has publicly accused his twin brother and former bandmate, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, along with his producer, of stealing a song.

Mr P recently launched a track titled ‘Winning’ following the group's third split earlier this year.

In an Instagram post, Rudeboy claimed that he originally wrote and performed the song with a specific producer, who allegedly took it and handed it over to his brother.

He asserted that Mr P recorded the song verbatim with the same producer he collaborated with.

Rudeboy expressed his frustration over having submitted six songs to the management and questioned the rationale behind re-recording his song exactly as it was.

On his Instagram page, he wrote, “Song title: Winning

Written and sang by Rudeboy

Produced by same producer.

“Now how come? Now am I supposed to release another version? Mr Producer, your case is for another day.

“Just a simple thing: Bring 6 songs, let me bring 6 songs. I Submitted 6 songs to the so-called management. Why re-singing my own song? word for word. Song that was supposed to be in my album next year, June.”

In a subsequent post on his Instagram story, Rudeboy issued a warning that he would release the unedited versions of any of his songs that were being plagiarized.

“The days of manipulation are over!!

And to the management, make I hear any song wey na only me sing, I go release the original version.

Oloriburuku!

Music is not that hard!,” he wrote.
