On Wednesday, Olajumoke formally introduced her talk show, "Kilon Shele," on City FM during a press conference held in Lagos. She expressed her sincere gratitude to the renowned photographer TY Bello, recognizing her pivotal role in propelling her to prominence in 2016.
In her discussions with reporters, she revealed her intention to further her education, attributing her past difficulties to a lack of literacy following her rise to prominence through TY Bello's support.
During her radio show, Olajumoke plans to share her personal journey, including her encounters with exploitative managers who took advantage of her educational shortcomings.
She indicated that the show will also delve into her emotional challenges experienced during her time away from the spotlight, as well as her journey toward self-discovery and empowerment.
Additionally, she mentioned that her program will serve as a platform for inspiring conversations with guests who have faced similar obstacles.
“I want to use my platform to share my story, the good and the bad. I want to show that even in the darkest moments, there is hope for a better tomorrow.
“My show will be a beacon of inspiration for those who have faced similar struggles,” she said.
Reflecting on her past experiences, particularly the errors that strained her relationships with supporters, Olajumoke expressed, “I have endured a great deal.”
She acknowledged the support of Azuka and TY Bello, commending them for their unwavering belief in her.
The radio host urged those following in her footsteps to “put in the effort and never turn against those who help them. I have made numerous mistakes, but I have gained valuable insights and hope others can learn from my journey.”
