Mavin Records artist John Ighodaro, widely recognized as Johnny Drille, has collaborated with music executive and label founder Don Jazzy to release a new extended play (EP). The seven-track EP, titled ‘Hard Guy Confessions,’ became available on streaming platforms on Wednesday.

Reflecting on this collaboration, Johnny Drille shared on Instagram, “If you had told me a few years ago that I would be making music with Don Jazzy, I would have dismissed it as a joke, but here we are.”

The EP features tracks such as ‘How Are You,’ ‘Anyway,’ ‘It Hurts,’ ‘Hold Me,’ ‘Spending,’ ‘Believe Me,’ and ‘Peace Of Mind.’ Prior to this release, Drille had already unveiled the singles ‘Believe Me’ and ‘How Are You (My Friend).’

The talented R&B artist began his professional music journey after participating in the sixth season of Project Fame West Africa in 2013. In 2017, he signed with Mavin Records, where his distinctive sound captured Don Jazzy's attention. Since then, he has produced numerous successful singles and garnered significant acclaim, including winning the ‘Best Alternative Song’ award at The Headies in 2019.

Don Jazzy, the founder of Mavin Records, is recognized as one of the most influential label owners and producers in the Nigerian music scene.
