During a podcast session with comedian AY, Ojo expressed her disappointment over the claims, describing them as unfounded.
“They were insinuating that maybe I killed Mohbad,” she explained, emphasizing that she was not present in the country when the singer passed away.
Ojo further challenged the rationale behind these claims, stating, “If I actually killed him, then why was I fighting for him to be exhumed?”
The actress criticized what she perceived as the inconsistency in the actions of the singer’s family, remarking, “Even his family lost track of what they wanted.”
Ojo also claimed that many of the narratives circulating on social media were intentionally propagated by those close to her.“Most of the time, a lot of things that were sent to Gistlover were from my so-called colleagues,” she noted, referring to the well-known gossip site.
Iyabo Ojo’s comments arise amid increased public scrutiny regarding the circumstances of Mohbad’s death, with investigations still in progress.
The actress urged caution and encouraged individuals to verify facts before making allegations.
