Renowned Barbadian-American singer and songwriter Robyn ‘Rihanna’ Fenty has expressed that, although her music has brought her fame, it was not part of God's plan for her.

The billionaire entrepreneur made this statement during the launch of her Fenty Beauty brand in her homeland of Barbados on Thursday.

“Music was the thing that got the attention, but God had other plans for me, and I was able to create in ways that were very sincere, genuine, organic and authentic to the things that I love,” she said.

Forbes recognized Rihanna as a billionaire a few years back when her net worth surpassed the one billion dollar threshold.

The majority of her wealth is attributed to her makeup line, Fenty Beauty, with additional contributions from her music sales and concert tours.

Rihanna and her partner, A$AP Rocky, welcomed their first child, RZA, on May 19, 2022, shortly after publicly confirming their relationship. In August 2023, they celebrated the arrival of their second son, Riot Ross.

Earlier this year, speculation arose regarding Rihanna's potential pregnancy with a third child, but she clarified the situation during an interview with ET, stating that while she is not currently expecting, she would "definitely" like to have more children.

In an April interview with Interview Magazine, she expressed her desire for a daughter, noting that she has so far given birth to boys.

“I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two. I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy,” she said.
