Julien Arnold, a Canadian stage actor, tragically passed away while performing in ‘A Christmas Carol’ on stage.

A statement from Punctuate Theatre, where his wife, Sheiny Satanove, serves as managing director, confirmed that Arnold died on November 24.

The 60-year-old actor's death occurred during an evening performance at the Citadel Theatre in Edmonton, Alberta.

According to CBC News, a spokesperson for Alberta health services reported that he died at the theater despite paramedics' attempts to resuscitate him.

The specific cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

The theatre honored Arnold's memory, calling him “a talented performer” who was “deeply cherished by the community.”

“It is with heavy hearts we share the news of the sudden passing of Julien Arnold, a beloved actor and dear friend of the Citadel Theatre,” it reads.

“A cherished member of the Edmonton theatre community, Julien was a gifted performer whose charisma and talent graced our stage in countless productions, including A Christmas Carol.

“Julien’s passing is a profound loss to his family, friends, fellow Carol company members, Citadel staff and the Edmonton community he loved so dearly.”

A fundraising initiative has been established to support his wife with expenses associated with his death, which encompass funeral expenses, rent, groceries, and time away from work for mourning.

Arnold was raised in Edmonton and pursued his education at the University of Alberta. His professional journey in theater extended over several decades, during which he appeared in productions including ‘The Taming of the Shrew,’ ‘The Wizard of Oz,’ ‘Twelfth Night,’ and ‘Sense and Sensibility.’
