Nigerian rapper Chibuzor Azubike Nelson, widely known as Phyno, has voiced his dissatisfaction regarding the backlash he faced for collaborating with Hushpuppi on his latest album, ‘Full Time Job.’

This partnership signifies a resolution to the previous conflict between Phyno and the incarcerated Hushpuppi.

Hushpuppi contributes motivational quotes on the track ‘Nwoke Esike,’ which has generated significant online discussion.

Joining the bandwagon of critics, an X user @Temmyt_Official wrote, “I still don’t understand what Phyno was trying to do on that track by bringing Hushpuppi to ‘motivate’ us.

Reacting, Phyno fumed: “Go and sleep if u no sabi game!!! If Young Thug or El Chapo talk for song now you go rush first play am…ngwere isi red!”

The collaboration also highlights the end of their earlier dispute, which began in 2017 when Phyno criticized Hushpuppi for showcasing his lavish lifestyle on social media, following Hushpuppi's remarks about Phyno and Ice Prince allegedly wearing counterfeit wristwatches.

In addition to Hushpuppi, the album features contributions from British rappers Chip, Arrdee, and NSG, as well as Nigerian artists Burna Boy, Johnny Drille, Cheque, Fave, and Flavour.

The project includes tracks such as ‘It’s Nothing,’ ‘Back Outside,’ ‘Time Of My Life,’ ‘Eyes On Dem,’ ‘Do I,’ ‘Deep,’ ‘Nwayo Nwayo,’ and ‘Men Don Show Face,’ along with ‘Grateful,’ ‘Nwoke Esike,’ ‘Troublemaker,’ ‘Pinterest,’ ‘Sweet Karma,’ and ‘Anthem Ndi Nze.’

Hushpuppi was sentenced to 11 years and three months in prison in the United States for money laundering on November 7, 2022.
