Grenada is poised to become a significant energy center as the Nigerian oil and gas firm, Oceangate Oil and Gas Engineering finalized a landmark multi-billion dollar agreement with Global Petroleum Group to initiate one of the largest oil and gas projects in the Caribbean.

In a statement released on Saturday, Group CEO Dr. Aisha Achimugu highlighted that this groundbreaking collaboration aims to tap into Grenada’s substantial hydrocarbon reserves, setting the stage for the island nation to establish itself as a prominent energy hub in the Caribbean and beyond.

Achimugu expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are excited to collaborate with Global Petroleum Group, which will bring considerable economic advantages and energy resources to Grenada.
