Alok Singhal, the Head of Sub-Saharan Africa for VFS Global, stated that applicants are required to schedule an appointment prior to submitting their applications.
Singhal highlighted the enduring collaboration between VFS Global and UK Visas and Immigration, which has been in place since 2003, and expressed enthusiasm about delivering exceptional services to travelers from Kenya.
He also pointed out various optional services aimed at streamlining the application process, such as assistance with document uploads, submission outside of regular business hours, SMS notifications, and the option for passport courier return once a decision has been made.
For residents of Nairobi, VFS Global provides a Mobile Visa service, enabling applicants to submit their visa applications from the comfort of their homes or offices.
Additionally, the 'Keep My Passport While Applying' feature allows customers to hold onto their passports after submitting their application and biometrics, with the passports returned only when a decision is finalized.
Recently, VFS Global secured a contract to deliver UK visa services in 142 countries worldwide, expanding its previous operations from 58 countries to 31 in Africa by October 2024.
