The Confederation of African Football has set November 14 and 18 for these matches.
The Super Eagles will head to Abidjan for their Matchday 5 encounter against the Benin Republic, which is scheduled for Thursday, November 14, at Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny.
Kickoff is at 8 PM Nigerian time (7 PM Ivorian time), with Senegalese officials overseeing the match. Issa Sy will serve as the center referee, assisted by Djibril Camara and Nouha Bangoura, while El Hadji Amadou Sy will be the fourth official. Ivorian Rene Williams Sere will act as the match commissioner, and Angolan Inacio Manuel Candido will be the referee assessor.
The three-time Africa Cup champions will conclude their qualifying campaign at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Monday, November 18.
This match is set to begin at 5 PM Nigerian time, with Moroccan referee Samir Guezzaz officiating, supported by assistants Zakaria Brinsi and Abdessamad Abertoune.
Kech Chaf Mustapha will be the fourth official, while Ghana’s Prosper Harrison Addo will serve as the match commissioner, and Somalia’s Ali Mohamed Ahmed will take on the role of referee assessor.
The Eagles are currently leading Group D with 10 points from four matches, holding a four-point advantage over second-placed Benin Republic, while Rwanda sits at five points. Libya, in last place, has managed only one point and is no longer in contention for qualification.
A victory or draw against the Cheetahs of Benin Republic in Abidjan will guarantee the Super Eagles a spot in the finals in Morocco, set for December 2025/January 2026, with one match remaining.
The Eagles chose to boycott their most recent qualifier against Libya due to inadequate treatment, which included a flight diversion to a different city and being detained at Al-Abraq airport on the outskirts of Benghazi for nearly 20 hours without access to food, water, or internet services.
