Stella Artois joins Palmer Mutandwa’s Button Brothers for an unforgettable celebration of Spring/Summer fashion, culture, and African excellence on the global stage.

Button Brothers, the acclaimed fashion house led by Creative Director Palmer Mutandwa, unveiled its highly anticipated Spring/Summer 2024 capsule collection at the picturesque Beechwood Gardens in Johannesburg on October 20th.

A landmark occasion in the fashion calendar, amid the lush surroundings, guests enjoyed chilled Stella Artois as models showcased the new collection—a visual symphony that pays homage to African excellence and diaspora heritage. The collaboration with Stella Artois added an extra layer of sophistication to the event, reflecting a shared appreciation for craftsmanship and timeless quality.

This collection is a tribute to the enduring impact of African excellence on global culture," says Palmer Mutandwa. "By interweaving our rich heritage with the elegance of Italian artistry, we're creating more than just fashion, we're advancing a dialogue about Africa's place in the world of contemporary, high-end design."

Inspired by transformative cultural movements such as the Pan-African movement in Southern Africa, the Harlem Renaissance in North America, and Cuba’s revolutionary heritage, the collection seamlessly blends rich historical influences with Italian aesthetics. Mutandwa's recent creative exploration of Milan, Sorrento, Positano, and Capri in August 2024 infuses the collection with a distinct synergy of African heritage and Italian elegance.

Estee Burger, Marketing Manager for Stella Artois, shares, "Stella Artois has always stood for more than just a beer; it's about savoring life's meaningful moments. Partnering with Button Brothers allows us to celebrate the fusion of culture and craftsmanship. Palmer's designs resonate with our commitment to quality and tradition, making this collaboration a natural fit and something really worth more.
