Former reality television personality who has transitioned into acting and singing, Phyna, is enjoying the fruits of her labor in Nollywood and has recently shared details about her income.

In a post on Twitter, she addressed an inquiry regarding actors' salaries, stating that she earns approximately five million Naira monthly from three films, provided she does not overextend herself with too many projects.

Phyna clarified that although she cannot comment on the earnings of her peers in the industry, her monthly income is indicative of the roles she chooses to undertake.

“In a month, I do about three movies, and they pay me around five million Naira,” she shared.

Nevertheless, her transparency elicited diverse responses online.

While some admirers commended her accomplishments, others expressed skepticism regarding her assertions.

Instagram user @fifys_shortlets stated, “5M for 3 movies in a month ain’t a big deal, she might be saying the truth.”

Another user, @abujasextoyshop, challenged Phyna to name the movies she had starred in, commenting, “Pls name the movies, would love to watch them.”

Skepticism continued to grow as @sh&ckwave questioned the validity of her earnings: “I don’t know if I believe this. I’d say the average pay is around 100-300k per movie, depending on the size of the role and the status of the star.”

However, others defended Phyna, noting that high-profile actors in Nollywood, such as Nancy Isime, can charge upwards of 1 million Naira per day. @chiomaegboh22 commented, “If you all don’t know, know it now.”
