Kehinde Bankole stated that she would only consider nude roles if they are deemed to be "intelligently required."
Prominent Nigerian actress and television presenter Kehinde Bankole has shared her views on the subject of nude scenes in cinema, outlining the particular circumstances that would lead her to accept such a role.
During a recent appearance on the widely-discussed ‘Duke
Rants’ podcast, Bankole was questioned about her limits regarding film roles
that involve nudity.
She stated that she would only consider these roles if they
are "intelligently required" by the narrative.
“I do not like that question because the answer would be
taken out of context,” Bankole explained. “This is the internet, after all. I
will just say that I can do what is artistically required. As far as it is
intelligently required, not just required. Sometimes, you do not need nudity,
excessive kissing, and all of that to tell a good story.”
