Nigeria successfully concluded its participation in the Paralympic Games, securing a total of seven medals.

Nigeria has wrapped up its participation in the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games, finishing in 40th place on the overall medal standings with a total of seven medals.

The nation's achievements include two gold, three silver, and two bronze medals. Onyinyechi Mark set a new Paralympic record in the women's 61kg powerlifting category by lifting an impressive 145kg.

Folashade Oluwafemiayo earned gold in the women's over 86kg powerlifting event. Bose Omolayo took home silver in the women's up to 79kg Para-powerlifting category with a lift of 145kg.

Flora Ugwunwa also secured silver in the Women’s Javelin F54 category with a throw measuring 19.26m. Esther Nworgu achieved silver in the Powerlifting Women’s up to 41 kg category.

Additionally, Isau Ogunkunle made history as the first Nigerian athlete to win an individual medal in Para Table Tennis since the Sydney 2000 Games, claiming bronze in the Men’s Singles Class 4 event.
