Aerotechnic, the global supplier of aircraft parts and services to numerous international commercial airline and civil aerospace brands, announces it is expanding to South America.  The news comes as the company not only marks its 30th anniversary but also launches its new corporate identity.

The new operation in South America will be live before the end of 2024.  The expansion affirms the company’s motto of global vision with regional support and its commitment to providing local intel on the ground in the regions where it is needed most.  As one of the Aerotechnic founders, João Carlos Pina explains: “We already have a network of distributors around the world, but we have identified a specific need for a regional office in South America so that we may service our clients in the region with both local knowledge and support.”  Aerotechnic has a comprehensive footprint in Asia (Singapore, China), Africa, Europe, Middle East and North, Central and South America and stocking facilities in South Africa, USA, AsiaMiddle East, and France.

The expansion will add several jobs in the new territories as well as specially Aerotechnic trained support staff within South Africa.

New look for new future

After 30 years in a highly specified and precision business, Aerotechnic has upgraded its look and imagery to mark its journey to date and reflect its commercial goals to expand the business yet further.

The new logo captures the essence of the company’s ambitions and reflects the goal to redouble its success in the future. As Jean-Pierre Guyeu, the joint founder of the business in 1994 says: “For three decades, we have been at the forefront of technological advancement in our services and supply to the commercial airline business.  It was the right time to refresh our brand as we look to the next 30 years.  We are empowering our industry with the highest quality service and standards, and we are also empowering our people – prioritising women and youth - through specially designed training and support.  We believe we are getting it right as we fly it forward in this business and we believe our new and strong insignia accurately asserts our culture.”

Part of the Stavia Group, Aerotechnic is the only supplier of aircraft parts in Africa to be internationally certified.  Its ‘ISO9001’ and ‘FAA AC00-56’ certifications assure that Aerotechnic is a factory-authorised and quality distributor and supplier of aviation equipment.

Working with aircraft manufacturers, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM), Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul facilities (MRO), and repair stations, Aerotechnic handles everything from outright sales, exchanges; loans; repair management; IP; and stock holding through to management of consignment stock and surplus stock; distributorship and broking; repairs follow-up and warranties.  Its product range is huge and covers just about every component of an aircraft – from wheels to fuel filters, from fuses to igniters – the manufacture and delivery of which is all tracked by the Aerotechnic aviation-dedicated software programme to ensure an efficient supply chain management process.
