Acclaimed British singer Adele has announced to her fans that she will be taking a much-needed sabbatical.

The 16-time Grammy Award winner shared this news during her concert in Munich on Saturday, stating that after seven years of continuous effort, she is ready to pause and savor the rewards of her hard work.

“It has been incredible, but I just need a break,” Adele expressed to the audience. “I have dedicated the last seven years to creating a life for myself, and now I want to experience it.”

This announcement comes shortly after another significant update, as during a performance in Munich on August 9, Adele confirmed her engagement to her American partner, Rich Paul.

The couple's engagement had been the topic of speculation, but the ‘Hello’ singer happily put those rumors to rest by revealing her plans to marry.
