Bassey disclosed this change during a live Instagram session with prominent media figure, Daddy Freeze.
In their discussion, Bassey provided details about his new life overseas, emphasizing that his transition to plumbing presents greater financial benefits and a more laid-back lifestyle compared to his previous roles in technology.
When Daddy Freeze inquired about his current professional endeavors, Bassey replied, “I’m involved in construction here.” Daddy Freeze, clearly surprised by this development, sought to understand why someone of Bassey’s stature would step away from acting and producing.
Bassey elaborated, stating in Nigerian Pidgin, “In the last seven months, the province I have visited just on weekends in Canada, even person wey dey do tech no fit afford am. For here, I don’t know about the UK or US.”
