Nigerian artist and music executive Oluwatosin Oluwole Ajibade, widely recognized as Mr. Eazi, has dismissed the circulating rumor that Afrobeats artist Tekno collapsed during a performance in South Africa.

In a response shared on his social media platform X on Tuesday evening, the 'Low-key' singer remarked, "Lmao Tekno wey dey Malabo."

A video purportedly showing a man, believed by many to be the 'Pana' singer, being assisted by security personnel after allegedly collapsing on stage in South Africa has been widely shared online.

This footage has generated significant buzz, prompting Mr. Eazi to clarify the situation, asserting that Tekno is actually in Malabo, Equatorial Guinea, rather than South Africa as suggested.

It is worth noting that Tekno and Mr. Eazi recently established a strategic partnership following a joint venture between Tekno's Cartel Music label and Mr. Eazi's emPawa Africa, with Tekno participating as both an investor and partner.
