Nottingham Forest midfielder Danilo was stretchered off the field due to what seemed to be a significant injury to his left leg during the team's inaugural Premier League match against Bournemouth on Saturday.

Medical personnel surrounded the Brazilian player as they provided care following an awkward landing while contesting a challenge against Bournemouth striker Antoine Semenyo in the seventh minute at the City Ground.

Both the referee and Danilo's teammates promptly signaled for medical assistance upon observing his condition.

After receiving nearly six minutes of treatment, he was carried off to the sound of applause from the crowd, with the score remaining 0-0 at that moment.

Danilo made his move to Forest from Palmeiras last year.
