The Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board has announced the outcomes of its computer-based assessments for the hiring of teachers in primary schools within the state.
This information was shared in a statement by the Executive
Chairman of the Board, Nureni Adeniran, and was provided to journalists in
Ibadan on Wednesday.
Adeniran specified that the Board had established a 50% pass
mark for progression to the subsequent phase of the recruitment process.
This pass mark, as he mentioned, would establish the
direction for the recruitment procedure.
He also recommended that all candidates check their portal
for their already published results.
A total of 52,423 applicants competed for 7,000 primary
school teaching positions in the state.
Adeniran reaffirmed the Board's dedication to improving
educational facilities and services in the state.
