The Nigerian 4x100m relay teams did not qualify for the finals at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

During the 2024 Olympic Games on Thursday morning, Nigeria experienced an unfortunate setback in the 4x100m relays.

The men’s 4x100m quartet, consisting of Favour Ashe, Kanyinsola Ajayi, Alaba Akintola, and Usheoritse Itsekiri, placed 7th in heat 1. Despite this outcome, the team managed to achieve a season’s best time of 38.20 seconds.

In the same vein, the women’s 4x100m team, comprising Justina Eyakpobeyan, Favour Ofili, Rosemary Chukwuma, and Tima Godbless, fell short of reaching the final round. They finished 6th in heat 2, recording a season’s best time of 42.70 seconds.
