Chidimma Adetshina, a beauty queen of Nigerian and South African descent, has stated that she does not anticipate returning to South Africa in the near future.

Following her announcement as a contestant for Miss South Africa, Chidimma encountered significant criticism.

She ultimately decided to withdraw from the pageant due to allegations of fraud and identity theft involving her mother, raised by the South African Home Office.

After her withdrawal, she received an invitation to participate in the Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, which she accepted.

Since arriving in Nigeria over a week ago to compete, Adetshina has expressed her happiness about being in her father's homeland.

In an interview with Cool FM Nigeria, she remarked, "I think it’s safe to say I’m not going back. It’s been amazing. I’m not even looking forward to going back to South Africa. I just want to explore more. I want to stay longer and see what happens next."
