Renowned American hip-hop artist, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, professionally known as Cardi B, has officially confirmed the paternity of her third child.

The “WAP” singer recently disclosed her pregnancy, which coincided with her filing for divorce from her husband of nearly seven years, Offset. This revelation naturally raised questions regarding the child’s paternity.

However, in her divorce filing, obtained by TMZ on Friday, Cardi B unequivocally confirmed that Offset is indeed the father of her third child. This acknowledgment was made as part of her request for child support.

Cardi B and Offset entered into a private marriage in 2017 and have since welcomed two children together: a daughter named Kulture, aged six, and a son named Wave, aged two.

In September 2020, Cardi B initiated divorce proceedings against Offset, but the couple subsequently reconciled in October of the same year. However, in June 2023, Cardi B publicly criticized Offset after he alleged that she had been unfaithful.

According to the American publication People, Cardi B is seeking primary custody of their children as part of the divorce proceedings. Offset has also made accusations of infidelity against Cardi B in the past.
