This week, the pairs of WannixHandi, DoubleKay, Chekas, Beta, and Zinwe from BBNaija season 9 have been nominated for eviction.
This development follows recent modifications to the rules of the current season, which have introduced new elements to the game.
Previously, the rules allowed Custodians to influence evictions and the Head of House (HOH) ballot, while they themselves were not subject to eviction.
During the live show on Sunday, BBNaija host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu announced that Biggie has eliminated the Custodian Challenge and the HOH ballot.
He further stated that housemates will now nominate one another for eviction, with the ultimate decision resting in the hands of the viewers through public voting.
After Nelita secured the HOH title for the week and maintained their position as Head of House, each pair in the house was instructed to nominate two pairs for eviction.
Following the nominations, the five pairs that received the most votes were WannixHandi, Beta, Zinwe, and DoubleKay.
The viewers will now have the responsibility of evicting one pair, with the announcement to be made during the Sunday live eviction show.
