The theme of this year’s summit, “Innovate for the Next Generation,” will delve into the various factors that will shape the future of the global economy.
The Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) and the SuperBridge Council have announce the second edition of the SuperBridge Summit 2024, scheduled for October 15-16, 2024, at the One&Only One Za’abeel, Dubai. This two-day summit will be held concurrently with GITEX Global, facilitating the convergence of future leaders in the global economy at a single venue.
The theme of this year's summit, "Innovate for the Next Generation," will delve into the multifaceted elements that are shaping the future of the global economy. Five key topics will be explored: "Economic Powerhouse," "Technology and Industrial Transformation," "Leadership and Human Equity," "Life and Well-being," and "Wealth and Investment." The term "innovate" in the theme reflects a proactive approach to finding solutions to the world's most pressing challenges, while "Next Generation" emphasizes the multidimensional aspects of global economic forces, technology, leadership, well-being, and investment.
Following the resounding success of last year's edition, which hosted 58 esteemed speakers, including seven ministers from nations such as the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Pakistan, Morocco, Benin, and Lebanon, several prominent speakers have expressed their desire to return. The inaugural summit welcomed over 400 chairpersons and CEOs, as well as over 2000 C-level attendees, collectively overseeing a capital base of USD 3.5 trillion across 140 financial institutions, representing a combined corporate wealth of USD 900 billion. The summit was also graced by the presence of representatives from the UAE Ministry of Economy and leading conglomerates such as Trip.com, Asset Management One (Japan), and Beijing Academy of AI, among others.

The SuperBridge Summit is widely recognized as a pivotal catalyst for fostering positive economic growth. Notably, Trip.com, the inaugural sponsor of last year's summit, subsequently established its Dubai office and embarked on significant travel expansion initiatives. Furthermore, a prototype and live demonstration of the tokenization platform known as Project Diamond, developed by Coinbase Asset Management, were showcased at the summit, generating substantial interest and leading to the platform's successful launch.
