Renowned Nigerian musician, Paul Okoye, also known as Rudeboy, has disclosed the origin of his wealth following his recent encounter with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

It is Important to note that Paul Okoye and his brother, Jude Okoye, were recently taken into custody by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Following his release, Rudeboy clarified in a post on his Instagram story that he is not a thief.

Disclosing the origin of his affluence, he indicated that his exceptional musical compositions provide him with substantial financial remuneration.

Sharing the EFCC eagle logo, he stated; “Eagle eyes, all cleared. I no thief ohh. Na just good music de pay. Now let’s get back to the music next week!! New music!! Vitamin D.”

RudeBoy, a renowned Nigerian artist, embarked on a solo career following the dissolution of the celebrated musical duo, P-Square. His diverse talents encompass singing, songwriting, dancing, and performing.

The vocalist, who embarked on a solo career, subsequently disclosed that it took him a considerable amount of time to acclimate to performing independently.

As a solo artist, Rudeboy launched his official solo debut songs in 2017, including singles such as “Fire Fire” and “Nkenji Keke.”

In 2018, he released the single “Somebody Baby,” followed by a collaboration with Reminisce on the track “Is Allowed.”

Rudeboy, a renowned musician, launched his song “Reality” in the year 2018. Additionally, he collaborated with the esteemed Dancehall vocalist Patoranking on another single entitled “Together.”

The singer's official debut song, “Reason with Me,” released in 2019, achieved remarkable success by overcoming challenges and securing a prominent position on the music charts.

The music video associated with the song achieved the distinction of becoming the most-watched African music video on the YouTube platform during the calendar year of 2019, garnering an impressive 40 million views. As of December 2020, the video has amassed a substantial viewership of approximately 84 million.

Subsequent to that, Rudeboy has launched additional singles, including “Audio Money”, “Take it”, “Woman”, and “Oga”.

In the year of 2019, the renowned music artist founded his own record label, officially named Fire Department Inc. (FDI). The announcement of the record label’s establishment was made through the artist’s official Instagram account.
