Affluent Nigerians should exercise caution when traveling to
Ibiza, Spain, due to the prevalence of theft. Reality television personality
Kiddwaya has recently been the victim of theft in Ibiza for the second time.
In a recent video posted on his Instagram page, Mr. Kiddwaya
disclosed that his villa in Ibiza was once again the target of a robbery, with
the initial incident occurring in 2022.
He provided a detailed account of the theft, which occurred
at 3 am. The perpetrators stole wristwatches, 70,000 euros, Birkin bags, and
other valuable items.
The primary purpose of Kiddwaya’s video sharing was to issue
a cautionary advisory to affluent Nigerian citizens who frequently travel to
Europe. He emphasized the importance of exercising vigilance and conducting
thorough research when selecting villas for their accommodations.
He noted that these robberies are often intricate and
well-planned operations that involve the participation of various individuals,
including cleaners, drivers, and even law enforcement personnel.
He recommended that we implement robust security measures,
such as having security personnel present at all times, exercising caution with
domestic staff, and utilizing private transportation instead of public options.
In the caption of the video, he wrote: “WATCH THIS VIDEO: I
got robbed this morning in Ibiza! THIS IS A MESSAGE TO ANYONE TRAVELING TO
EUROPE THIS SUMMER ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE GETTING VILLAS.”
