In a recent announcement, Infinix revealed a collaboration with Samsung Electronics to introduce the 108-megapixel AI-Powered Advanced Deep Learning Algorithm (AIADLA). Through this partnership, Infinix intends to enhance mobile photography by utilizing Samsung’s ISOCELL image sensor hardware remosaic technology. The goal is to democratize the "art of photography" for everyday users who may not be photography experts, by employing artificial intelligence (AI) for photo enhancements.

Infinix’s Novel Imaging Algorithm

According to Infinix, their novel AIADLA algorithm optimizes noise reduction and detail reproduction by leveraging Samsung’s imaging technology. Images captured even in distant environments are asserted to maintain their sharpness and color accuracy. Moreover, the technology endeavors to enhance low-light photography by delivering superior clarity and detail while concurrently minimizing noise and distortion.

By utilizing AIADLA technology, users are able to capture high-resolution images from their smartphone’s primary camera, even at a distance. The company noted that users can then crop and adjust the images as needed without compromising the overall quality. To achieve this, the algorithm calibrates using AI during the software mosaic rearrangement process, based on a pre-trained database of images.

Infinix has announced that this technology will be incorporated into its soon-to-be-released smartphones. There are rumors suggesting that it will be included in the Infinix Note 40X, set to be unveiled in India on August 5. This device will come equipped with an AI-supported 108-megapixel triple rear camera system.

Infinix’s 720-Degree SphereTech NFC Technology: A Comprehensive Overview

The recent advancement occurred shortly after Infinix introduced its newest near-field communication (NFC) innovation known as 720-degree SphereTech. According to the company, this technology has the ability to extend the conventional NFC signal range twofold and expand the card reading area by 200 percent.

In addition, the company asserts that any smartphone equipped with this cutting-edge NFC technology can conduct transactions by simply tapping on the front, back, and top sides.

In 2013, Samsung unveiled its cutting-edge pixel technology for CMOS image sensors, ISOCELL. This technology facilitates DSLR-caliber photography experiences on contemporary mobile devices, delivering exceptional color reproduction, enhanced brightness, rapid autofocus capabilities, and versatile dual-camera solutions. Samsung's ISOCELL technology employs a physical barrier between adjacent pixels, effectively isolating them individually. This innovative approach allows for increased light absorption within the pixels, resulting in noticeably sharper and more vibrant image quality.
