Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and Space X, claimed that he was tricked into approving his child's use of puberty blockers.
Elon Musk, a prominent American entrepreneur and business magnate, has publicly discussed the passing of his son, Xavier, following the latter’s gender transition.
The CEO of Tesla and Space X, Elon Musk, has stated that he
was misled into allowing his child to receive puberty blockers.
Musk revealed this information during a live interview with
psychologist Jordan Peterson on Platform X on Monday.
In the course of their discussion, Peterson brought up the
subject of Elon Musk’s decision to move SpaceX’s headquarters out of
California. Musk cited Assembly Bill 1955, a new state law that allows schools
to withhold information about a child’s sexual orientation or gender identity
from their parents, as a key factor in his decision.
The action was taken following the signing of the bill into
law by California Governor Gavin Newsom on Monday, July 15, 2024.
Upon inquiry regarding the impetus behind his public stance
on the matter, Peterson engaged in a candid exchange with the proprietor of X,
sharing a deeply personal anecdote involving his child, Xavier. Xavier now
identifies as transgender and has adopted the name Vivian Jenna Wilson.
Musk stated, “It’s evil. You’re taking kids who are far
below the age of consent.
“It’s very possible for adults to manipulate children who
are having an actual identity crisis into believing that they are the wrong
gender.”
Musk disclosed, “Well, it happened to one of my older boys.
I was essentially tricked into signing documents for one of my older boys,
Xavier. This was really before I had any understanding of what was going on,
and we had COVID going on, so there was a lot of confusion. And I was told
Xavier might commit suicide.”
Peterson, respectfully challenging the notion, stated, “That
was a lie right from the outset. No reliable clinician ever believed that.
“There was never any evidence for that, and also, if there
is a higher suicide rate, the reason is the underlying depression and anxiety
and not because of the gender dysphoria. And every god-d*** clinician knows
that, too, and they’re too cowardly to come out and say it.”
Continuing, Musk said, “It’s incredibly evil. And I agree
with you that the people that are promoting this should go to prison.
“I was tricked into doing this. It wasn’t explained to me
that puberty blockers are actually just sterilization drugs.
“I lost my son, essentially. They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a
reason. The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead, so my
son, Xavier, is dead, killed by the woke mind virus.”
“So I vowed to destroy the woke mind virus after that. And
we’re making some progress.”
A preprint study from the Mayo Clinic published earlier this
year suggests that puberty blockers may cause permanent infertility in males,
contradicting prior assertions of their reversibility, as reported by Fox News.
Puberty blockers, particularly GnRH analogues, are employed
to temporarily halt the progression of puberty in transgender and
gender-diverse adolescents, according to the Mayo Clinic’s website. These
medications effectively halt physical changes associated with puberty by
suppressing the production of sex hormones.
Vivian Musk, previously known as Xavier, publicly disclosed
her transgender identity in June 2022, at the age of 18, as reported by the
Daily Mail.
Simultaneously, she formally requested a legal name change
to Vivian, adopting her mother’s family name.
“I no longer want to be related to my biological father in
any way, shape or form,” Vivian said.
Last week, Musk made an announcement regarding the
relocation of SpaceX and X headquarters to Texas. This decision was prompted by
a recently enacted California law that restricts schools from mandating
teachers to inform parents about alterations to a student’s gender identity.
“This is the final straw. Because of this law and the many
others that preceded it, attacking both families and companies, SpaceX will now
move its HQ from Hawthorne, California, to Starbase, Texas,” Musk wrote on X.
During the interview on Monday, Musk revealed that he had previously informed the governor that he would relocate his company if the bill was enacted into law, indicating that his decision to move the headquarters was not an impulsive response.
Elon Musk is a staunch supporter of the Republican Party’s
presidential candidate, Donald Trump, who is known for his stance against the
LGBQ community.
Presidential candidate Trump pledged to prohibit transgender
men from participating in women’s sports if elected in November.
Additionally, he disclosed that Musk contributes $45 million per month to his campaign fund.
