Afrobeats musician Davido has launched his own social media platform called Chatter.
David Adedeji Adeleke, known professionally as Davido, has
announced the launch of a new social media application called ‘Chatter’
following his unsuccessful venture into the cryptocurrency market.
On Friday, an official announcement was made via a widely
shared post on Davido’s official X account. Davido disclosed his joint
ownership of the app with his close associate, Sir Banko.
Chatter is a social audiovisual platform that aims to foster
connections between content creators and their dedicated community, thereby
enhancing the impact and reach of their creative endeavors.
This represents Davido’s third online endeavor within the
last eight months.
Previously, Davido introduced his own cryptocurrency, the
$DAVIDO coin, several months ago.
Nevertheless, the cryptocurrency experienced a precipitous
decline in value shortly after its launch, prompting widespread skepticism and
accusations of fraudulent intent within the cryptocurrency community.
