Afrobeats musician, Ahmed Ololade Asake, professionally known as Asake, is scheduled to perform at the London O2 Arena for the second time.

The artist shared this information in an Instagram post on Tuesday.

Asake, who is currently on his ‘Lungu Boy World Tour’, has confirmed that he will be performing at the 20,000-capacity auditorium on September 21.

Sharing the flyer, he wrote; “I’m super excited to announce that my tour ‘Lungu Boy World Tour’ is coming to a city near you. London Lungu BY is Active @theo2london Saturday 21st September.”

Asake’s tour, which commenced in Portimao, Portugal on June 20, will conclude on October 6 in Gold Coast, Australia.

Last year, Asake delivered a sold-out performance at the O2 Arena. He gained prominence in 2020 after releasing his hit song, “Lady.”

The artist entered into an agreement with YBNL Nation in February 2022. During the same month, he launched his inaugural extended play titled “Ololade,” which included his breakthrough track “Omo Ope” featuring Olamide and the single “Sungba.”

He has been the recipient of numerous accolades and acknowledgements in recognition of their exceptional talent.

Notably, they recently received a Grammy nomination in the category of ‘Best African Music Performance’ for their hit song ‘Amapiano’, a collaborative effort with the renowned rapper Olamide.

Furthermore, in 2023, they achieved the distinction of clinching the prestigious award for music at the esteemed 2023 Future Awards.
