The actress previously had a 20-year-old son with her
colleague, actor Jibola Dabo, whom she referred to as her partner.
Subsequently, in 2006, she entered into a marital union with Victor Ayodele
Oduleye.
Nevertheless, in her recent interview with actress Biola
Bayo on the ‘Talk To Be’ podcast, Mogaji made allegations of mistreatment
against Oduleye.
She proceeded to provide a detailed account of her romantic
involvement with the former professional football player.
“We fell in love with each other but received beating over
any little thing.
“Even in England the abusive language, the mental torture,
the physical abuse, when it gets too much I will advise anybody to get out of
that marriage.
“It got to a stage that when it’s only two of us at home, I
do go outside the compound and sit till when someone will come around so that I
will not be abused. We were in it for like thirteen years and we have been
separated for four years now,” she said.
Mogaji also shared her experience regarding motherhood.
The film celebrity revealed thatone of her fallopian tubes
was surgically removed during the gestation period of her child with Jibola.
Fallopian tubes serve as a crucial conduit for the
transportation of ova from the ovaries to the uterus. These structures provide
an environment conducive to the fertilization and subsequent development of a
fertilized egg into a fetus.
The 60-year-old movie star reported that the physician
informed her of her probability of survival before the operation.
Mogaji stated that she eventually gave birth to her child
through natural means, six weeks after reaching the age of forty.
“I got pregnant. Unfortunately enough, the pregnancy was
ectopic. It stayed right inside the fallopian tube. They took me to like seven
hospitals. They gave me the bed and the man said I am not sure you can survive
till tomorrow. The operation took them like seven to nine hours,” she said.
“The following day, Ngozi had cried her eyes out…. Shola
Sobowale, Sam Loco, Jide Kosoko, everybody was at the hospital. She was they
had to remove one fallopian tube but I am living with one and I had my child
through natural birth.
“I stopped looking for husband, I wanted to make baby. If I
do not have a baby until I am forty then I will adopt a child… Jibola came
around the time shortly before I was forty. I had my baby six weeks after I
became forty years old.
Binta clarified that she was never in a marital union with
her colleague, Nollywood actor Jibola Dabo, despite rumors suggesting
otherwise. While they share a child together, their relationship did not
progress into marriage as previously speculated.
She subsequently entered into a marital union with Victor
Ayodele Oduleye, a former professional football player and physiotherapist.
