This best state university in Nigeria, the best In West Africa, the most digitally inclined higher institution in Nigeria; and now authoritatively one of the top-rated among well over 400,000 varsities in the world, has garnered another four-fold top feathers in its intellectual flight.

Another testimony to this is that four LASU students made the list of the five tops in an essay competition for undergraduate students of all tertiary institutions in Lagos State organised by the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) to commemorate the Y2024 World Environmental Day.

The Vice C”ancellor, Prof. Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello congratulates the students on their participation and victory. She urges them to keep the flag of the university flying while assuring them of the university’s support for future competitions.

With this sustained soft surge in success, LASU has, today, become the hard nut to crack and the envied model to emulate among its contemporaries in the comity of Ivory Tower.
