Denola, while speaking on a podcast on Wednesday, claimed
that most marriages are based on ‘slavery’ and many of them are unhappy in
their marital lives.
According to him, when he decides to settle down, it would
be with a partner he loves and not the one he tolerates.
“When will you marry? When will you fix your marriage? How
about that? I don’t know why they are so obsessed with marriage because a lot
of them are not in happy marriages, especially like the older generation.
“I’m like so you want me to just meet someone, marry them,
and just be managing them. Like, I hate slavery,” he added.
Denola Grey made his acting debut in 2018 in Nigeria's first legal drama series, Castle & Castle. Playing the time of Benjamin Castle, he acted alongside top Nollywood actors like RMD, Dakore Egbuson Akande and Eku Edewor. In the same year he played the role of Venya, in the Nollywood comedy, Bling Lagosians.
In 2021, he starred in D.O.D ( Day Of Destiny), Nigeria's first sci-fi, fantasy time travel feature film, alongside Olumide Oworu, as part of a two-handler lead. The film also stars Ireti Doyle, Broda Shaggi, Toyin Abraham, Blossom Chukwujekwu and Ini Dima- Okojie
