Nigeria’s second largest telecoms company, Airtel Nigeria has officially announced The Hooks Creative Agency and Insight Publicist as its new  creative agencies while Algorithm Media becomes the custodian of Airtel’s media buying and digital media marketing.

The three agencies would take over from the incumbents – Noah’s Ark and mediaReachOMD which currently work on creative and media respectively.

This signifies a shared commitment to creating impactful, innovative experiences that resonate deeply with Airtel’s customers nationwide.

In a statement seen by BrandIconImage on Saturday, Airtel Nigeria said, "following a rigorous pitch process, Airtel Nigeria is pleased to announce the appointment of three marketing communications consulting agencies to collaborate with the internal teams to drive Airtel brand communications, beginning July 1, 2024."

"Insight Publicis and The Hook were successful with their RFPs and have been appointed as advertising agencies while Algorithm Media has been charged with the responsibility for media strategy, planning and buying as well as digital marketing."

However, the company stated that MediaTrak Limited will remains the media monitoring agency for Airtel Nigeria.
