ASUS recently teased the ROG Phone 8 series by releasing a teaser for the product, but now, we have a release date for when the devices will be unveiled globally, and also when they will be released in China.

It is safe to say that the ASUS ROG Phone 8 series phones are one the most anticipated gaming devices in recent memory. So far, reports indicate that there could be three variants of the ROG Phone 8: the ROG Phone 8, the ROG Phone 8 Pro, and a third ROG Phone 8 Ultimate variant.

ASUS took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that the ROG Phone 8 series would make its debut at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 on January 8.

Moreover, it was also revealed that ASUS ROG Phone 8 series will be launching on January 16, 2024, in China, and that means the launch is only a little more than a month away at this point. The launch event is supposed to start around 7:30 PM in China, but for those in India, the time would be 5:00 PM IST.

It is expected that all the ROG Phones would be powered by Qualcomm’s latest and greatest chipset—the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Coupled with that, ASUS may provide up to a whopping 24GB RAM and 1TB onboard storage, based on leaked benchmark scores. There are also rumours doing rounds that it may also support up to 65W fast charging.

Additionally, the devices could be available with Android 14 right out of the box and come with a redesigned camera module.
