Former Super Eagles captain, Nwankwo Kanu, has been tipped to replace the chairman of Aba based side, Enyimba FC, he will be taking over from Felix Anyansi-Agwu, the longest reigning Chairman of a Nigerian club side. The board of Enyimba board dissolved last week
The former board of the Peoples’ Elephant was dissolved by
the Abia State Government this week.
Erstwhile chairman of the team, Felix Anyansi-Agwu was in
charge of the team for 23 years ago.
The Aba giants won nine NPL titles and two CAF Champions
League during his reign.
According to reports emanating from Umuahia, Kanu, a former
Premier League winner has been earmarked for the position.
Enyimba will compete in the CAF Champions League next
season.
