The health officials again, reported no
additional deaths leaving the country’s toll from the virus at 3,144.
At least 250,229 persons have recovered from
the disease as confirmed cases, since the country started reporting in February
2020, stood at 257,290.
In an update via its official Facebook page,
the NCDC said the new cases were recorded across five states and the Federal
Capital Territory (FCT). It said Lagos State reported most of the new
infections with 251 cases.
The breakdown of the NCDC data also revealed
that Rivers, FCT, Kano, Delta, Oyo reported 50, 21, 7, 2 and 1 cases respectively.
While eight States reported zero cases:
Bayelsa, Ekiti, Kaduna, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Plateau and Sokoto
