After days of consistently reporting no
fatalities from the coronavirus pandemic, Nigeria on Thursday recorded one new fatality
and 13 COVID-19 infections across four states and the Federal Capital Territory.
The health officials noted that the total
number of infections recorded in Nigeria now stands at 255,646, stating that
Nigeria has successfully treated and discharged 249,842 people.
It added that the latest infections included data
from 12th to 13th April 2022, Out of which Lagos had six cases, Rivers had three
cases, Delta with two cases, FCT and Kano reported one case each
While seven states; Abia, Bauchi, Cross River, Kaduna, Nasarawa, Plateau and Sokoto reported zero cases.
