Meanwhile, 32 COVID-19 patients who have
recovered from the disease have been discharged from hospitals across the
country.
Nigeria’s active COVID-19 cases increased by 76.
Total number of active cases now stands at 2,795 from 2,719, cases it was on April
1st.
According to the health agency, till date, a
total of 255,606 cases have been confirmed, 249,686 cases have been discharged
and 3,142 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital
Territory.
NCDC data shows that Lagos state lead the
chart with 20 new cases and Rivers reported 3 cases. While Abia, Delta, FCT and
Kaduna reported 2 cases each.
It added that Bauchi, Kano, Plateau and Sokoto
reported zero cases.
