English viewers were left frustrated after the live channel
suddenly went off air without warning.
But Scots have been left unaffected by the broadcast planned
with programmes still airing north of the border.
Affected viewers down south claimed that the channel
suddenly became very pixelated without warning.
Watchers also complained that sound quality had dropped
significantly due to the issues.
Viewers flocked to online outage tracker site Down Detector
to alert TV bosses to the problems.
Punters in Bristol, Sheffield, Essex and West Yorkshire all
appear to have been impacted by the broadcast outages.
ITV's 4pm line-up brings Tipping Point, Secret Crush, A
Touch of Frost and The Professionals.
A report indicates that current problems began at around 3pm
today.
It’s currently not known what has caused the outage, with no
comment from ITV at all.
But it appears that the channel’s online catch-up hub is
still working.
