“Tenet” Won the Best Global Motion Picture Awards; Elio Germano Won the Best Actor Award; Frances McDormand Won the Best Actress Award

At the Huading Awards global operating headquarters, the 31st Huading Awards committee released the winners of the “Global Film Satisfaction Survey”. "Tenet" won the best global motion picture award. Japanese director Kiyoshi Kurosawa won the best director award with "Wife of a Spy", and Italian actor Elio Germano won the best actor award with "Volevo nascondermi". American actress Frances McDormand won the best actress award with "Nomadland".

Chinese actor Fan Wei won the best supporting actor award with "One Second", and American actress Amanda Seyfried won the best supporting actress award with "Mank". Indian screenwriter and director Chaitanya Tamhane won the best screenwriter award with "The Disciple". The 19-year-old American actress Talia Ryder won the best new actor award for her "Never Rarely Sometimes Always". "Soul" won the best animation award, and the episode "Hear My Voice" from "The Trial of the Chicago 7" won the best movie music award. The Chinese film "The Eight Hundred" won the first place in the global film satisfaction survey, and the British actor Anthony Hopkins won the Lifetime Achievement Award.

The scope of this 31st Huading Awards is the films released worldwide from January 1 to December 31, 2020. On September 16th, after announced the nominees, the committee launched a global public satisfaction survey based on this nomination list. The winners were evaluated by the committee’ opinions and public satisfaction survey results.

The Huading Award is the "Global Audience Choice Awards" and have been praised by the Hollywood Reporter as "An award integrating Oscars, Grammys and Emmys."
