Tottenham Hotspur became the first English club to book
their place in the European competition after they finished in seventh place in
the Premier League table.
Spurs beat Leicester City 4-2 on the final day of the
season, with two late goals from Gareth Bale denying North London rivals
Arsenal the chance to appear in the tournament.

Standing 57.5cm tall and weighing 11kg, the trophy consists of 32 hexagonal spines twisting and curving from the trophy base.

The competition will be played on Thursday evenings and was
created to give more clubs the opportunity to win European silverware.
Spurs will enter at the Play-Off round, which will a two-legged
affair on August 19 and August 26. The Premier League season starts on the
weekend of August 14.
