Aguero has started only thrice for Pep Guardiola's side this
season. Notably, he missed the end of previous and the beginning of current
season due to a knee injury he underwent in June last year.
He has now missed his side's last 4 matches against
Birmingham, Brighton, Crystal Palace and Aston Villa due to isolation.
Senior players Kyle Walker, Gabriel Jesus, Ederson and
Ferran Torres have also been forced to isolate in recent weeks.
Manchester city defeated Aston Villa 2-0 in the Premier League on Wednesday and extended their winning run across competitions to nine.
