Nokia has introduced seven new Smart LED TV models that include 32-inch Full HD, 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 58-inch, 65-inch, and 75-inch 4K Ultra HD models for the European market via StreamView.

Nokia's newest brand licensee, StreamView, based in Austria, is responsible for selling Nokia branded Smart TVs, Set-Top-Boxes, and DAB+ radios in Europe, Middle East, and Africa, tech portal nokiamob.net reported.

On November 14, StreamView began its journey with the sales of its first product, the Nokia Streaming Box 8000 within Europe, but the new Nokia Smart TVs were due to be launched before Christmas 2020.

The new Nokia Smart TVs will sell for 399.90 euros for the 32-inch Full HD model. The 43-inch model will retail for 549.9 euros, the 43-inch model for 599.9 euros, the 50-inch model for 699.9 euros.

The 55-inch and 58-inch models are priced at 699.9 euros and 799.9 euros, respectively. The 65-inch and 75-inch 4K models cost 899.9 euros and 1,399.9 euros respectively.

In terms of specifications, 32-inch smart LED TV has a 1920 x 1080 pixels Full HD display with a 178-degree viewing angle.

On the other hand, the 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, 58-inch, 65-inch and 75-inch models have a 4K resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels, with a 178-degree viewing angle and Dolby Vision.

The models are powered by an ARM CA55 Quad-Core processor while the graphics is fired up by a Mali 470 MP3 GPU. The smart TV comes with 1.5GB RAM on all models except the 32-inch model which packs 1GB of RAM.

There is 8GB of internal storage across the board. Providing the interface is the Android TV 9.0 operating system.

Display

Starting with the display panel of the TVs, only the 32-inch model will ship with a Full HD (1920 x 1080) LED panel with a brightness up to 250 nits, while all the other models will have 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) LED panels with a maximum brightness of 320 nits. The viewing angle for each model will be 178 degrees. HDR10 support is available on all models, which will balance the overall color reproduction using a color palette of 1.07 billion shades. Except for the Full HD model, all the 4K UHD models will come with the support for Dolby Vision as well.

Audio

With two built-in speakers, the audio output will be 2 x 6 W for the 32-inch TV, 2 x 10 W for the 43, 50, 55, and 58-inch TVs, and 2 x 12 W for the 65 and 75-inch TVs. All the TVs will have support for Dolby Digital Plus, but the 32-inch model will miss out on DTS Sound support, unlike the other TVs.

Hardware

Powered by the ARM CA55 Quad-Core processor and the Mali470 MP3 GPU, all the smart TVs will have 8 GB of internal storage (eMMC) to save all the applications. DDR3 RAM for the 32-inch model will be 1 GB, while it will be 1.5 GB for the other models.

Design

Each model will be available only in black colour. Except for the bottom bezel, all the TVs have slim and uniform bezels on the other sides. The bottom bezel on the 32-inch model is thicker than that of other models. With 32, 43, 50, and 55-inch models, you will get a tabletop stand similar to what you get with your PC monitors. With 58, 65, and 75-inch models, you will get a two-sided stand/feet.

OS & Interface

The operating system for the new Nokia Smart TVs is Android TV 9 with Google Play as the primary source for the variety of content that you would like to watch. There is a dedicated media library and support for Disney+, Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, and many more streaming services.

Remote Control

All the TVs will come with the same Bluetooth remote control (RC) that comes with backlit keys and the voice searching functionality of Google Assistant. With the dedicated buttons for Google Assistant, Netflix, and YouTube, it will be a lot easier and faster to access them. The remote control has a similar design to the remote control that you get with the Nokia Streaming Box 8000, with just a few changes here and there.
