The figures of the novel coronavirus cases in Nigeria have continued to rise as confirmed infections of COVID-19 in Nigeria hit 64,884, after 156 people tested positive in 10 states and Federal Capital Territory.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) made the disclosure on Friday via it officially Twitter handle.

While 146 COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from isolation centers and two coronavirus-related deaths recorded in last 24 hours.

According to the data released by NCDC, Lagos led with 70 infections, while FCT came second with 22 infections, and Kaduna in the third position with 18 Infections.

Other state with new cases of the virus infections: Rivers-15. Plateau-11, Ogun-10, Bauchi-3, Katsina-3, Kano-2, Ekiti-1 and Osun-1

Nigeria has so far tested 697,544 persons since the first confirmed case relating to the COVID-19 pandemic was announced on 27 February 2020.

On the 13th of November 2020, 156 new confirmed cases and 1 death was recorded in Nigeria
Till date, 64,884 cases have been confirmed, 60,936 cases have been discharged and 1,163 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
